Page Regional Networking Dinner | Tokyo

As travel restrictions ease after the pandemic, Roger Bolton, President of Page, will be visiting Japan for the first time in three years, and will join us at this event as our special guest. He will be able to give a unique perspective on how the pandemic has increased the importance of communications for companies globally, and what this means for senior communicators and their teams in Japan and globally going forward, both from a strategic and a talent perspective.
Page has also recently released Stakeholder Capitalism and ESG: A Guide for Communication Leaders, some findings from which Roger will also present. With growing shifts in expectations about businesses’ role in society, stakeholder capitalism, an approach to business in which companies not only seek to optimize near-term profits for shareholders, but seek long-term value creation by taking into account the needs of all their stakeholders and society at large, is now an integral part of corporate leadership. Page’s Guide answers questions about how to translate stakeholder capitalism into business opportunities that maximize value for all stakeholders, including future generations, along with case studies that demonstrate what leading with stakeholder capitalism looks like in action.
Page has a stronger presence in Japan now than ever before, and current members include the most senior global communicators at companies including LIXIL, Nomura Holdings, Nissan, Rakuten, Takeda, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Johnson & Johnson and ORIX, as well as the Japan heads of premier global agencies, Edelman and FGS Global, and the top communications recruiter Cormorant Group. Many of these members will also be present at the event which should offer an invaluable opportunity for networking and conversation about the key issues facing our profession today. It will also offer an opportunity for you to find out more about Page and the benefits of becoming a part of our growing Japan membership.
We hope you can join us for this intimate event that will bring the Japan communications industry together, make new connections, rekindle old ones, and talk about issues that affect us all. Drinks and light food will be provided.
