Page Conversation with Alan Murray on his new book, “Tomorrow’s Capitalist”

From its earliest days, Page has embraced the multistakeholder view that has gained traction recently in the stakeholder capitalism movement. In its 2019 The CCO as Pacesetter report, Page set forth the case for CCOs to advocate for a long-term view and a focus on value creation for all stakeholders. FORTUNE Media CEO Alan Murray has been a pioneering advocate for stakeholder capitalism.
Murray’s new book, “Tomorrow’s Capitalist,” analyzes stakeholder capitalism from the CEO’s perspective, discussing how and why CEOs are addressing issues pertinent to society, and not focusing solely on shareholders.
On Thursday, May 4, at 11 a.m. ET, Page President Roger Bolton will discuss stakeholder capitalism with Alan Murray, including addressing how CCOs can partner with CEOs to help businesses focus on creating value, not just for customers and shareholders, but more broadly for society at large.
Page Conversations are virtual events that give Page and Page Up members a forum to discuss critical topics that are impacting their enterprises and the role of the CCO. Each Page Conversation will feature a portion with experts, followed by a discussion among members conducted under Chatham House Rules. If you have any questions, please contact JT Conway.
