Page Conversation on Communicating Through a Crisis of Democracy

A breach of the U.S. Capitol during the counting of electoral votes reflected the boiling over of intense polarization. The rift between those who accept the election and those who reject it as fraudulent will persist beyond this perilous moment. Enterprises will have to balance a desire to act and communicate in the interests of a peaceful transfer of power while not marginalizing those who believe it to be illegitimate.
On Friday, January 8, we will convene a call to discuss how enterprises are navigating this difficult situation. Charlene Wheeless of Page will lead this conversation. Kathy Beiser of Eli Lilly and Company and Ethan McCarty of Integral will contribute their perspectives. This call will not be recorded to allow for candid discussion. Please come ready to learn and share, confidentially, how your organization is responding, if at all. For reference, this is 11 a.m. in San Francisco, 1 p.m. in Chicago and 7 p.m. in London.
