Page Conversation on Business and the Biden Administration

If we’ve learned anything in 2021 so far, it’s that intense political polarization isn’t going away and companies are going to be held to a higher standard for their social issue advocacy. Now, as President-elect Biden begins his administration, business leaders can’t help but wonder: what’s next?
In this Page Conversation on Friday, January 22 at 1 p.m. ET, Page member Doug Pinkham, president of the Public Affairs Council, will lead a discussion about the challenges Biden faces in governing, the impending impeachment trial of President Trump and the issues the business world will likely encounter. He will be joined by Page member David Demarest, former White House communications director under President George H.W. Bush and now president of Aspen Line Reputation Strategies and lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Page Conversations are virtual events that give Page and Page Up members a forum to discuss critical topics that are impacting their enterprises and the role of the CCO. Each Page Conversation will feature an interview with an expert that will be recorded for later viewing, followed by a discussion among members conducted under Chatham House Rules. If you have any questions, please contact Natalie Martinez.
