Page and the PR Council present: An Industry Dialogue with the George Floyd Memorial Foundation

As the anniversary of George Floyd’s death approaches, it is important for strategic communication leaders to come together to examine our progress on the commitments we made a year ago and explore how we are continuing the fight for racial justice—within our organizations and as an industry.
Join us for a discussion presented in partnership between Page and the PR Council on Friday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. ET, where Page Chair Charlene Wheeless, Senior Advisor, Equity and Justice, APCO Worldwide, will lead a discussion with Jacari Harris, executive director of the George Floyd Memorial Foundation, to explore the hopes and expectations of the community and how businesses can contribute to substantial, lasting systemic change.
The George Floyd Memorial Foundation works to unite voices for change, challenge systemic obstacles and eliminate the violence against and murder of unarmed, non-violent, and non-resisting Black individuals. Its programs provide internships and scholarships, mobilize communities, address the root causes of inequality such as economic opportunity and combat the systemic violence affecting Black Americans by working to build a fair legal system.
A special thank you to Evan Kraus of APCO Worldwide for presenting us with this opportunity and to APCO for their support in connecting us with the George Floyd Memorial Foundation.
